Fertilization Options
The abundance of medical technology to facilitate achieving a successful pregnancy is impressive. Using frozen and thawed sperm samples a woman can fertilize her own eggs in her womb using ICI or IUI. This could be the woman who would be the intended mother or a traditional surrogate for the intended parents. Alternatively, IVF can be used to fertilize eggs in a separate protected environment. The embryos can then be placed into the womb of the woman or a gestational surrogate for growth of the infant until birth. The remaining embryos can be stored cryogenically for future use. I am interested in providing for the continuation of care and custody of the frozen embryos that may result from our interaction. That would enable the availability of embryos to other women or couples who may desire to bring a child into the world using them.
